For this reason and others, the framework is still very unstable right
now. Unless you have time to kill or you really just can't beat off your
curiosity, I'd suggest you wait at least a few months, and just quietly
observe the list and ask questions as things progress.

Probably that would be difficult right now. Rickard and Niclas are
taking the lead, and things are moving very quickly. They have already
been discussing this deeply for over a year now I think, and have a very
good idea of where this is all going.
I think until the first release is done, it would be difficult to
contribute to the code, thought asking questions and trying to poke
holes in the project would probably be very helpful.
